Peach Crumble

You’ll need:

  • 1 tin of peaches
  • 5 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp butter/spread


You’ll need:

  • Mixing bowls
  • Spoon
  • Sieve
  • Baking dish (small)
  • Can opener



  1. Put the oven at 160 °C
  2. Open up the tin of peaches and drain the juice. Keep the juice for a nice peach iced tea!
  3. Add the peaches to the oven dish
  4. Using the oven glove, place in the oven
  5. Get the mixing bowl and add 5 tbsp of flour in
  6. Add 2 tbsp of butter to the bowl
  7. Using the thumbs, index and middle fingers, rub the flour into the butter until all butter is rubbed in and you can see no flour. It should have a nice yellow tint throughout
  8. Use the oven glove and take out the oven dish
  9. Spoon the crumble mixture over the peaches until everything is covered. Don’t be tempted to use all of the crumble mixture
  10. Put back in oven and leave for 30 mins
  11. Look at the crumble mixture, if golden take out. If not, leave in for 5 minute intervals

  • Use other tinned fruits like apple, pear or cherry. Even mix two tins up to make a bigger crumble
  • Swap flour for coconut flour or almond flour
  • Add some oats on top of the crumble for a little texture and crunch
  • Add 1 tbsp of sugar into the crumble mixture for some added sweetness
  • Use wholemeal flour for more fibre
  • Go vegan by using a spread instead of butter
