Fruit Salad

Ingredients
You’ll need:
- 1 kiwi fruit
- 1 clementine
- 1 banana
- Handful strawberries
Equipment
You’ll need:
- Chopping board
- Knife (not sharp)
- Spoon
- Mixing bowl
Instructions
Method:
- Peel the banana and using your hands break it up in 2cm chunks. Put in the mixing bowl
- Using the knife and chopping board and cut the kiwi fruit in half sideways.
- Get the spoon and scoop out the green part of the kiwi fruit. If the whole half comes out, use the knife again to cut in half again
- Put in the mixing bowl
- Peel the clementine and put the segments in the mixing bowl
- Wash the strawberries. Put them on the chopping board and gently crush with the palm of the hand
- Using the spoon or knife, take the green top off the cut through the middle, leaving two halves. Put in the mixing bowl
- Give everything a mix around together
TOP TIPS
- Add some honey and yoghurt to make the fruit salad every more exciting
- Crush up some nuts and seeds to to add bite
- Use a pestle or mortar to grind up a tsp of sugar and fresh mint leaves. Crumble over for a freshness
