Add the banana into a mixing bowl and mash up with a fork.
Break the dark chocolate up into small pieces and add into a mixing bowl. Place the bowl over the kettle and melt the chocolate. Make sure the bowl is a safe distance away from the bowl.
Using a spatula add the banana to the melted chocolate and mix. Add the milk and continue to mix until all ingredients are combined. Leave for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle the desiccated coconut onto one small plate with cocoa powder onto the other plate.
Set out the small muffin cases on the tray
Fill the measuring jug with water and dip hands into jug. Using a tablespoon get some of the truffle mixture and roll with hands into a ball. Roll in either the desiccated coconut or cocoa powder and place into a muffin case.
Refrigerate the truffles for 15 minutes until firm.
Use other coating like crushed up cornflakes, oats to add crunch or pumpkin/sunflower seeds for a healthy punch
Use milk or milk alternatives like soya for different tastes
