Thanks to the Co-op Local Community Fund, we were able to host more Family Cooking Sessions in Bexley during the October half term. Over the 3 dates we saw just under 50 people attend, including children, parents and even grandparents. With a similar layout as the summer sessions, families made 3 healthy dishes, discussed what healthy eating is and checked how much fat, sugar and salt are in some of our favourite foods. The Family Cooking Sessions were largely by the Co-op Community Fund that allows members to back a local cause with 1% of the money they spend goes to that cause.
