On the 18th of October, we found out that we had been chosen as a Co-op local cause, again!. This means that every time a Co-op member buys selected Co-op products and services, 1% of the money they spend goes to a local cause in their community. The funding will allow us to deliver Family Cooking Sessions at a subsidised rate and work with primary schools and their families in a more educational role for free. This year we raised over £3,000, which helped with the delivery of the initial Family Cooking Sessions in July, August and October 2019, and ran healthy smoothie mornings at Sherwood Park Primary School during Healthy Eating Week. When our membership profile has been confirmed we will let everyone know how they can help with becoming a member and/or choosing us a your local cause.
